Summary: | The digital era does not only bring students closer to computers and the internet for mobile learning but also to social media as a means of information. One of the media that can be used for hybrid learning is YouTube. YouTube content has educational materials and creating art is very much needed by students, including those from the Fine Arts department. It is known that students’ learning styles choose audio-visual media. However, many students have limitations in foreign languages, especially English. Meanwhile, the speech videos that appear on You Tube are dominated by English-language. In order to find out how much influence YouTube has on improving students’ knowledge and skills, a survey was conducted. Based on the results of the study, it is known that only 73% of students are actively looking for learning videos on YouTube. Furthermore, 45% change the subtitle feature to Indonesian. In conclusion, it is necessary to increase the use of You Tube as a learning medium for practical courses followed by discussions both online and offline. |
