Summary:The Electricity scarcity is a major issue for both industrial and rural development in the current situation. The idea behind harnessing piezoelectricity from a speed breaker is to generate energy that would otherwise be wasted on a daily basis. Oncoming cars’ kinetic energy causes mechanical deformation of the piezoelectric material in the speed breakers, resulting in the generation of electricity. Electricity shortages are impeding India’s progress to address such issues, we must develop powerful electricity-generating ways using squandered human energy for the sake of a brighter future. We’re exploiting the piezoelectric effect to generate power in our project. The idea behind harnessing piezoelectricity from a speed breaker to generate energy is simple. Oncoming vehicles’ kinetic energy exerts pressure on the incorporated piezo-electric sensor in the speed breakers, which generates voltage. This electrical energy can be utilized to recharge batteries, light streets, and power traffic lights.
