Summary: | Balun (unbalanced-to-balanced) is an important component of converting unbalanced to balanced signals. It has been used in different applications such as balanced amplifiers, mixers, and phase shifters. The branch line balun has the advantage of simplicity in structure, good performance, and feasibility. The performance of various branch line balun is compared for different frequency ranges from 0.52GHz to 16GHz and their various parameters are analysed. |
