Summary: | Green synthesis of metal oxides has a wide applications when compare with chemical method. The metal oxide nano particles has attracted considerable attention in physical, chemical, medical, optical, mechanical and other engineering sciences where novel techniques are being developed to probe and manipulate single atom and molecules. Titanium dioxide is solid inorganic substance, which is a white colour metal oxide and it is poorly soluble, non-flammable and thermally stable. The present work describe the synthesis of TiO2 nano particles by eco-friendly green synthesis method using drum stick plant leave extract because of its antibacterial, anti-septic, antifungal and anti-inflammatory activities. The synthesized metal oxides were characterized by X-ray Diffraction (XRD) for average crystalline size and surface morphology or surface properties were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). These particles have wide applications in mild steel i.e. rust formation on mild steel are avoided by coating the green synthesized TiO2 nano particles. |
