Summary: | The value of information, communication, and technology (ICT) in education is unquestionable on a global scale. Many developed and developing countries have therefore made considerable investments in ICT education. Despite significant investments, the ICT sector of education has generally underperformed, raising a number of crucial challenges for both decision-makers and teachers. Overall, the results demonstrated that ICT was viewed as a crucial instrument for improving performance, collaboration, learning outcomes, and enjoyment. However, there are a few difficult situations that have an impact on the use of ICT in Saudi educational institutions, such as a lack of space, resources, and upkeep, a loss of ICT expertise among the faculty, a lack of ICT instruction, and a lack of clear ICT regulations. Nevertheless, addressing these challenges ought to turn these limitations into superb resources for the adoption of ICT. To respond to research questions and verify hypotheses, the Mann-Whitney test, Spearman’s rho test, and other demographic tests were utilised. Additionally, first-age ICT users and those who used computers for educational purposes performed much differently academically. |
