Summary: | The domino cyclization/coupling strategy is one of the most effective methods to produce cyclized and multi‐functionalized compounds from olefins and has attracted considerable attention from chemists and biochemists. Herein, recent advances in the transition metal‐catalyzed asymmetric domino cyclization coupling of alkenes with a series of electrophiles are summarized by dividing the reaction types into five categories: domino Heck reaction, tandem radical cyclization, cascade heterometallization, domino cycloisomerizations, and cascade aldol cyclization. The specific conditions, mechanisms and yields of synthesis are provided for representative examples, and the advantages and disadvantages of the various methods are outlined.
