Description
Summary:The current state of research on the development of kinetic models of the combustion of gasoline and its components is considered. Surrogate models of gasoline that describe the physical and chemical properties of real fuel and are used in the development of detailed and reduced kinetic models are analyzed. The experimental data—based on which kinetic models of varying degrees of complexity are tested—are reviewed. Examples of the application of kinetic models in the numerical simulation of processes occurring in internal combustion engines are given.
