Relaxation of High-Molecular Hydrocarbons after Exposure to High-Power Ultrasound

A study is performed of the effect high-intensity ultrasonic treatment has on the rheological characteristics of high-molecular hydrocarbons. Dependences are presented of the change in their kinematic viscosity on frequency in the range of 15–87 kHz at constant intensity and duration of ultrasonic e...

Description
Summary:A study is performed of the effect high-intensity ultrasonic treatment has on the rheological characteristics of high-molecular hydrocarbons. Dependences are presented of the change in their kinematic viscosity on frequency in the range of 15–87 kHz at constant intensity and duration of ultrasonic exposure, and on the intensity of ultrasonic exposure at constant frequency and duration. Relaxation of the kinematic viscosity of these substances after ultrasonic treatment is studied.
