Description
Summary:In this paper, SCAPS-1D software was used to analyze photovoltaic solar cells with Tin Sulphide (SnS) absorbers. The photovoltaic cell is made up of a SnS absorber layer, a CdS buffer layer, and a ZnO optical window in the order p-SnS/CdS/ZnO. After adjusting various parameters such as absorbent film thickness and its concentration of shallow acceptors, a maximum efficiency of 23.47% was achieved, with a Voc of 0.82 Volts, Jsc of 34.75mA/cm2, and Fill Factor of 83.57%. A remarkable optimization of the analyzed device’s rear face by employing BSF resulted in a substantial increase with an efficiency of up to 28%.
