Summary: | This study aims to produce a culture-based mathematics learning model. This learning model was adapted from the Makassar Bugis culture-based mathematics learning model which focuses on the cultural philosophy of a’bulo sibatang. This research is development research using the 4D model which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Retrieval of data used product assessment questionnaire sheets in the form of the aspects of content and construct validity as well as practicality and student response questionnaires. Trials were conducted with small group trials and large group trials. The test subjects were 30 students of class V SDN 87 Buttakeke. The results showed that the culture-based learning model a’bulo sibatang was feasible to use in the learning process. The results of the analysis of the validity of the learning model reached valid criteria,the practical aspects of the learning model were in good category and quite practical and the students’ responses to the a’bulo Sibatang culture-based learning model received quite good responses so that the overall the a’bulo sibatang culture-based mathematics learning model can be implemented in the learning process. |
