Description
Summary:The organization of movement in virtual environment without the use of additional controllers is actual problem in the field of training systems based on virtual reality. Existing all-way sliding platforms and treadmills make it possible to switch to a relatively natural way of moving, but in addition to the implementation of the hardware component, correct control by the software must be ensured. Adaptive motion control system in virtual reality should solve the following tasks: tracking a person in space, determining his speed, adapting hardware components to minimize negative effects, transferring information on the vector of movement in the visualization system of virtual reality. The work considers a structural and functional model of the control system aimed at solving the above tasks, for a wide range of possible implementations of movement systems in virtual reality.
