Summary:This study explores harassment in public places that violates the fundamental rights of women by making them insecure in such places. It is a social issue in Pakistan. Many studies have been conducted on sexual harassment rampant in educational institutes and the workplace surroundings, nonetheless, we find any study regarding public place harassment, especially with a legal perspective. Therefore, the study in hand highlights the notion of public place harassment and analysis of the laws of Pakistan regarding harassment in public places by considering case studies of Pakistan. The study reveals that harassment in public places is an everyday experience women face and recommends that legal reforms are necessary to restrain this act committed against women.
