Summary:The original automobile door trim strip production line of a company is a manual production line, which generally has the problems of poor operating environment, high labor intensity and low production efficiency. In this paper, an automatic production line of automobile door trim strip was designed, which used Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) for material transportation and connects each station in the production line by linear manipulator. Through the analysis of production status and design principles, a process improvement scheme is proposed for the current production line, the design of the mechanical system was carried out.
