Description
Summary:Combined heat and power technologies such as renewable (PV/T) and non-renewable (Fuel cell, gas turbine, reciprocating engine, and microturbine) units are extremely increased to meet heat and power demands, respectively. Therefore, to reach optimal operation of this system, unit commitment problem should be solved. The objective of this study is to solve unit commitment problem for integrated renewable and non-renewable combined heat and power systems with considerations for multiple energy storage system. For validation, it is shown that total cost is reduced by 1.045% as compared with those reported in the are some studies about integration literature. The simulation results show the significant effects of three energy storage systems on unit commitment problem results. Also, a critical sensitivity analysis is conducted.
