INTRODUCTION Media and technology are seen as critical tools for communication and educating the public about current political, social, and economic issues. Since the early 1980s, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has served as a key platform for many people to access information and accomplish other activities that are influenced by technological advancements, particularly from their homes, schools, workplaces. According to the findings of the study, students who spent more time on social media platforms and shared political news were more likely to create political postings and persuade others to vote for a candidate in an election.
