Summary: | The research deals with innovative technologies and an additive process based on metals in mechanical engineering. Two methods of additive production were applied in the solution of experiments. Innovative ADAM technology (Atomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing), which can be specified as an innovative method of production. It consists of the fibre layering from a metallic wax bond and subsequent sintering under vacuum. The original SLM (Selective Laser Melting) technology consists of the material layering by selective melting of the metal powder with a laser. The research deals with the analysis and comparison of qualitative indicators for samples produced by individual technologies, with an emphasis on surface roughness and texture. Experimental results offer qualitative outputs from the conducted experiments and their effective and economic evaluation in the implementation of ADAM technology. |
