Summary: | The jet grouting technology consists in mixing soil with grout under a high pressure. Thus improved soil possesses better deformation and strength characteristics. Soil-cement structures are widely used for reinforcement of bases, strengthening of foundations, excavation shoring, as landslide protection and groundwater cutoff works. Different soil properties and desired structural parameters require process equipment with different technical characteristics. The development of cost estimates and material and engineering documentation is carried out on the basis of documents included in the federal cost estimate standard database. In the current cost estimate standard database there are no standard rates for jet grouting jobs. In practice, projects vary considerably, demanding application of equipment with different technical characteristics. As exemplified by implemented construction projects, the organizational and technological features of jet grouting jobs, and composition of equipment used depending on the required soil improvement parameters are analyzed. The codes developed for making jet grouting piles in particular projects are given. The current procedure of determining labor costs and machine time using the input method taking into account characteristics of equipment applied is discussed. |
