Summary: | [LANGUAGE= "English"] Duane retraction syndrome is an ocular motility disorder with a number of congenital systemic and eye abnormalities. Altough, numerous theories concerning the etiology and the pathogenesis of this syndrome are present, still the exact mechanism can not be explained. Fuchs uveitis syndrome is an inflammatory disease of the uvea, thought to be triggered by otoimmunity or some microbial agents. Here, we present a case with two syndromes in the one eye. These syndromes have no known causal association with each other, and although they occur often, their occurrence together is uncommon. |
