Summary:In the present work Ni2O3 nanomaterial is a phase of Nickel Oxide have been synthesized via using simple chemical process. It is a simple, rapid and cost effective method. Nickel Chloride Hexahydrate NiCl2.6H2O and Potassium Hydroxide KOH are the basic materials used in the present process, by utilizing a temperature at 250 oC for 2 hour. The morphological, structural and optical properties of the synthesized samples were characterized by employing various techniques such as AFM, XRD, UV-Vis and FTIR respectively. The XRD technique confirm the presence of Ni2O3 nanomaterial with crystal size 57.083 nm which consistent with AFM, UV-Vis and FTIR. Results revealed that the fast, simple and low cost method produced Ni2O3 in Nano size range. The synthesis Ni2O3 will be useful for different industries. It is comfortable to manufacture the electrodes materials for fuel cell and production catalytic materials for electrolysis cell.
