Summary:This paper presents a model for determining the second critical field of superconductors, obtained on the basis of changes in the spin basis states of a system of two particles with spin 1/2 in a magnetic field. The obtained critical field estimate is consistent with experimental data for superconducting alloys, some metallic compounds, nitrides and Laves phases, fullerides and other superconducting compounds.
