Description
Summary:The interaction of exogenous refractory compound ZrO 2 nanoparticles with tin-containing model nickel superalloys is investigated. Under laboratory conditions, the degree of removal of tin from a metal after the introduction of ZrO 2 nanoparticles is shown to depend on the isothermal holding time, and it is found to be 11–18 rel %. The contents of various forms of zirconium after experiments are determined, and the amount of ZrO 2 removed from a metal to the M/(refractory, slag, gas) interface is found to be 50 rel % on average.
