Summary:A comprehensive understanding of emotional intelligence requires an understanding of a whole range of factors. In this paper, emotional intelligence will be described and linked within the context of digital transformation leadership through recent researches and scientific papers published on the topic of emotional intelligence and its connection with digital transformation. Within the scope of this paper, we will try to shed light on the theoretical concept and consider the connection between emotional intelligence and digital transformation leaders. We will analyze in detail some of the dimensions of emotional intelligence that we consider relevant for individuals conducting digital transformation as well as offer some future improvements for selecting adequate digital transformation leader.
