Salicylaldehydes in Strecker Reaction: Synthesis of Tricyclic Benzofuropyrazin‐2(1H)‐ones via One‐Pot Seven Domino Reactions

The first use of salicylaldehydes as carbonyl compounds in Strecker reaction was reported in this study, resulting in the synthesis of tricyclic benzofuro[2,3‐b]pyrazin‐2(1H)‐ones via pseudo five‐component one‐pot seven sequential reactions.
