Summary:In this paper we evaluated the performance of a reconfigurable intelligent surface tested with a fifth generation signal provided by a commercial fifth generation base station. We adopted a reverberation chamber as a real life propagating environment. Tests were conducted at the millimeter wave frequency range. This measurement campaign was carried out under the H2020 European project RISE-6G and a collaboration program between TIM S.p.A., Nokia and UniversitĂ  Politecnica delle Marche.
