Summary: | Sandwich pipes are an effective solution for the use of ultra deepwater applications. It has been developed by researchers to overcome the valuable resolution for ultra deep waters. In this work, numerical parameters help for the better and influenced sandwich pipe structures by using Taguchi analysis. Initially, the stress (stiffness) and deformation behavior of the various sandwich pipe structures (16 combinations) were investigated by the Taguchi analysis. Finally, the optimized sandwich structure are includes polycarbonate (PC) as core material, steel X-56 as inner and X-60 outer pipe. In future, the obtained results can support the fabrication of sandwich pipe structures using pipe-in-pipe method. Furthermore, the structural strength and corrosion testing performance will be carried out and results helpful for ultra deepwater applications. |
