Platinum-Containing Nanoparticles on a Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Support as Highly Active Electrocatalysts for Low-Temperature Fuel Cells
The structural and morphological characteristics and electrochemical behavior of electrocatalysts prepared by the methods of liquid-phase synthesis of platinum and copper nanoparticles deposited on microparticles of a nitrogen-doped carbon support are studied. A comparative analysis of the active su...

Summary: | The structural and morphological characteristics and electrochemical behavior of electrocatalysts prepared by the methods of liquid-phase synthesis of platinum and copper nanoparticles deposited on microparticles of a nitrogen-doped carbon support are studied. A comparative analysis of the active surface area, the catalytic activity in the oxygen electroreduction reaction, and the resistance to degradation of the obtained Pt/C–N and PtCu/C–N catalysts, as well as a commercial Pt/C material, has been performed. |
