Description
Summary:This report addresses spectral studies of light-curing, radiopaque composite material Omnichroma Blocker. Studies of the optical properties of this material hold much promise in current dentistry. We present here the technical characteristics, optical scheme, and external design of a spectrometer used for quantitative analysis of this material. A brief characterization of the composite is given. The spectra of the absorption coefficient K (λ) and the transmittance T (λ) for samples of Omnichroma Blocker of different thicknesses are presented.
