Summary:Objective To observe the influence of Bo’s abdominal acupuncture plus body acupuncture on the symptoms of moderate depression. Methods Sixty-two patients with moderate depression were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group. The treatment group was treated with Bo’s abdominal acupuncture plus body acupuncture. The control group was treated with routine body acupuncture only. The patients in the two groups were assessed by Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD-17) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) respectively before and after the treatment.
