Description
Summary:Signicant differences between sexes were observed, but in both parents, stress does not show severity (< 28) and depression is at null to minimal levels (M = 4.64, SD = 3). Conclusion. î€ e ndings reveal low severity, but according to the cutoffpoints, women exhibit higher prevalence of stress (10.6%) and depression (24.5%), compared to men (6.4% and 9.6% respectively), agreeing with other reports. î€ e associations between the couple show dependence, therefore, a close relationship in which the behavior of one affects the outcome of the other is assumed; this represents a risk factor for the dyad. A deeper look into risk factors associated with the public health problem involving the variables of the study is proposed.
