Summary: | ASTRID2 is the low-energy, 580 MeV, third-generation UV to soft X-ray light source at Aarhus University in Denmark. ASTRID2 provides a user beam in top-up mode 24 h a day, for around 40 weeks of the year, to both local university research groups and external visitors. This article will present the facility, the suite of beam lines and examples of the science performed. Brief comments about recent upgrades and future plans are also made.
