Summary: | The impact of variable viscosity and Prandtl number on unsteady free convection and axisymmetric laminar flow of ethanol liquid with magnetic field has been studied. The non-linear coupled partial differential equations of the flow along with the boundary conditions are reduced to non-dimensional partial differential equations using non-similar transformations and then solved numerically by employing implicit finite difference scheme and quasilinearization method. Solutions so obtained are shown graphically to analyze the impact of variable viscosity and Prandtl number on skin friction and heat transfer parameters. Also, the effect of magnetic field on skin friction, heat transfer, velocity, and temperature profile as well as the influence of temperature differences on skin friction and heat transfer have been examined. |
