Summary: | Along this line, the metals and their compounds as electrode materials as well as the corresponding mechanism for energy storage have gained extensive international attention. Dr. Chen et al. analyzed the structural design principles for improving the performance of cathode materials (Prussian blue and its analogs, layered oxides, and polyanionic compounds) and the anode materials (antimony-based, selenium-based, and bismuth-based compounds) for potassium-ion batteries. Being designable in structure and materials, GO and MXene accompanied by direct ink writing exhibited a promising prospect for constructing high-areal and volume–energy–density devices. |
