Description
Summary:The results of measuring the current density distribution of a wide-aperture electron beam outputted into the atmosphere and generated in an accelerator based on a non-self-sustaining high-voltage glow discharge (HVGD) are described. A self-sustained glow wire discharge with a hollow cathode was used to generate the emission plasma. A comparison was made of the inhomogeneity of the beam current density in the atmosphere in continuous and pulse-periodic emission generation modes.
