Summary:With recent advances in computer vision, benefits and challenges related to the adoption of Information and Communications Technology ICT tools in the higher education systems, a retrieval process based on teachers’ perspective have become a key component in achieving high efficiency survey queries. In this paper, it is proposed and developed software called, “Smart Survey System”, supporting quick access to identify the benefits and challenges related to the adoption of ICT tools in the higher education systems. The proposed system applies data analytics as a backbone, which uses PHP-WAMP server and MySQL database structure. This paper dwells on the analysis of a set of survey data for around 350 teachers. This paper also incorporates recommendations, limitations and future research directions. More efficiently search activities can be conducted through this proposed database system.
