Summary: | The main parameters of the distribution of nonmetallic inclusions in continuously cast slabs of S355JR low-alloy steel have been studied. The influence of initial chemical composition on the distribution functions of sulfides and carbonitrides through the region from the ingot surface to the center has been found. It is shown that with an increase in the extent of a region of equiaxed crystals, the concentration density of nonmetallic inclusions in the axial region of an ingot and the degree of axial segregation decrease. |
