Summary:Evidence underlying the principles of creating digital technologies for the manufacture of prostheses, orthoses, corsets, orthopedic shoes, and special clothing is discussed. The features of the technical and technological means for realizing technologies are presented and the economic and social effects of introducing these technologies in Russia are analyzed. Advanced technologies will reduce the risks of failing to satisfy the needs of the Russian population for prosthetic and orthopedic products in the difficult geopolitical situation and will support the industrial independence of the country.
