Summary: | This android-based mathematics learning media is a mathematics learning media in the form of learning applications. Learning media is a means of assisting teachers and students in the teaching and learning process. This research aims to produce a product in the form of Android-based mathematics learning media using MIT inventors with an excellent contextual teaching and learning approach. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE method, that consists of five steps, they are: 1) Analysis; 2) Design; 3) Development; 4) Implementation; and 5) Evaluation. In this study, the development carried out only reached the Development stage. Through the Analysis and Design stages, we obtained the draft. In the development stage, validation is accomplised by experts using media and material of the validation sheets’ experts so that suggestions are accepted to revise draft I into draft II (expert-validated learning media). The results showed that the Android-based mathematics learning media tested by these three validators were categorized as valid with a percentage of 93.24% for media experts. In contrast, 92,07% of material experts entered the excellent criteria. Based on the results of the validation of the experts, the Android-based mathematics learning media using MIT inventors with a contextual teaching and learning approach is a valid and feasible product to use. |
