Summary: | An analysis of horizontal displacement field data for the real dam and its enclosing massif based on geodetic mark polygonometry observations is presented. The analyzed data inform an understanding of processes that occurred during operations at the base of an arch dam, which led to a deterioration of deformation characteristics and the general unfavorable condition of the left-bank junction. On the basis of the resulting information, constructive measures are developed for ensuring trouble-free operation of a high-arch dam. |
