Summary:Aluminium metal matrix composite made their impression in various applications because of their higher mechanical and physical properties along with high strength to weight ratio. The Al LM-25 weight percentage of SiC Metal Matrix Composite is fabricated by using a stir casting method. Effect of SiC reinforcement in AL LM-25 alloy particularly mechanical properties like hardness test, tensile strength test, impact test, density index test, metallographic studies are carried out at various reinforcement of Sic with 3%, 6% and 9% variations in weight percentage are considered for experimental analysis. The integration of both materials can offer excellent characteristics compared to the material individually considered along with Al alloys. Main aim is to carried out the difference between aluminium with TiB2 and aluminium with SiC at 9% weight percentage.
