Description
Summary:This research tries to measure the effect of growth on the red mangrove plant the R. apiculate from the coastal distance to the north wind direction in Sembilan village. The study was carried out from October 2020 to December 2020. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with distance treatment consisting of P0 (planting distance from beach 43 m), P1 (planting distance from beach 44 m), P2 (planting distance from beach 45 m), P3 (planting distance from beach 46 m), P4 (planting distance from beach 47 m). The purpose of this research is to looked at the effect of spacing on the growth of R. apiculate red mangroves offshore in the area of Pulau Sembilan. The results of the study of plant spacing on R. apiculate mangrove seedlings for 12 weeks show that no influent cereal which significant. The percentage of plant growth was obtained at 100%. Based on the results, the study showed that the most optimal spacing was at P4 treatment (47 m spacing) where the average seedling height was 37.9 cm/12 weeks, the average diameter was 3.5 mm/12 The ANOV A test shows the sig. value> 0.05, so it was concluded that the spacing of R. apiculata seedlings had no significant effect on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, wet weight (roots, stems, leaves), dry weight (roots, stems, leaves), leaf area and leaf area index.
