Summary: | Research activities are becoming increasingly challenging for educators in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Obtaining a research grant is increasingly competitive. Proposal constructions need to be robust and researchable. One of the significant criteria in a research proposal is budget allocation. This study highlights the importance and usefulness of a dynamic budget template known as KKPLive Budget in assisting researchers in preparing a dynamic budget. A mixed-method approach was used to evaluate the usability, practicality, and stability of the KKPLive Budget. While quantitative research was used to examine evaluators’ assessments of the KKPLive Budget, qualitative research was used to gauge evaluators’ views about the KKPLive Budget. Data were collected from 12 second-year university students enrolled in the Bachelor of Accounting (Information Systems) programme who served as evaluators. The findings suggest that the KKPLive Budget is highly reliable in usability, practicality, and stability. |
