Summary: | Plasmonic Dipole ResonatorsIn article number 2312170, Xuanru Zhang, Tie Jun Cui, and co‐workers propose an exceptional point (EP) state in a microwave plasmonic dipole resonator. The geometric asymmetry leads to strong asymmetry of the non‐Hermitian Hamiltonian, resulting in enhanced frequency splitting signals. It combines the EP's high sensitivity and strong plasmonic wavelength compression. The minimum detectable metal scatterer features a diameter of λ0/280, and the reporting limit for glucose reaches 0.26 µmol. |
