Description
Summary:For oil producers, the main goal is to increase oil production. As the oil field is developed, reservoir pressure gradually decreases, and special measures are required to maintain it, such as, for example, improving the efficiency of field development at the same time as increasing the efficiency of waterflooding. Reservoir pressure maintenance systems are used for efficient development of oil fields by injecting water into reservoir formations. Currently, the waterflooding process is the most common method of secondary oil production. It helps to increase the level of production and oil recovery factor (ORF) in order to optimize the economic indicators of field development. To ensure this, optimal injection front distribution is required to achieve maximum waterflood coverage.
