Using a quasi-experimental treatment and control group design, two groups of preschool children were compared for the effectiveness of the intervention in eliciting their knowledge of dental health and the behaviours in preventing caries. Findings and implications of this pilot study, the first of its kind on preschool children's dental health knowledge and the use of a robot application as an intervention to enhance the curriculum, are discussed. |
