Description
Summary:This review article provides a detailed overview of current techniques in the field of Dielectric Resonator Antennas (DRA). The primary aim of study aims electrical size downsizing, retrofitting bandwidth to meet commercial needs, and radiation pattern stability by managing the modes in the DRA with the evolution starting from rectangular shape to contemporary investigations. Various research strategies for miniaturizing the physical and electrical size, mode excitation by various mechanisms such as a probe, microstrip, slot, and others, along with increasing bandwidth and radiation characteristics haveĀ been mentioned. In this review, the innovative geometries and fractal notions introduced to the DRAs are also discussed.
