Description
Summary:While many researchers are aware of the decolonizing agenda as applied to research on cognition and development, many are still unaware of how they can increase inclusivity. The papers on this special issue address a variety of ways to increase inclusivity, from increasing diversity in samples and in research teams, to taking more care in the use of generic language when presenting research results. We add our perspective on the need to become culture conscious, and advocate for inclusivity throughout the entire research process.
