Reaction of 4-Hydroxyspiro[pyrrole-2,3′-pyrrole] and 4′-Hydroxyspiro[imidazole-5,2′-pyrrole] with N,N′-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide

Substituted 4-hydroxyspiro[pyrrole-2,3′-pyrrole] and 4′-hydroxyspiro[imidazole-5,2′-pyrrole] react­ed with N , N ′-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide to give the correspondning 4(4′)-ureido derivatives. The products underwent nonselective thermal decomposition.
