Summary:Cloud storage is often used by businesses and private individuals alike because of all the benefits it offers. Therefore, users return to data they have already saved whenever and wherever they need to, without using hardware or software. But, if sensitive data is stored in the cloud without encryption, it exposes itself to attacks from third parties, including unauthorized users and cloud service providers (CSP). The traditional encryption methods need more processing power and storage space. Thus, visual cryptography technique is proposed to produce shares of the same-sized secret image by chaotic logistical mapping in conjunction with multi-cloud to ensure high security of cloud data and without data loss. Performance evaluation on the Corel10K dataset showed that the proposed method achieved MSE = 20027.99, PSNR = 5.114429 dB, NPCR = 0.99625, UACI = 0.334577.
