description The motorcycle is a popular mode of transport in Indonesia. So there is heterogeneous traffic which is dominated by motorcycles. For this reason, it is interesting to study the characteristics of the traffic quality. Traffic macroscopic studies consisting of speed, density and traffic volume are useful for determining traffic quality. This study aims to analyze the models of speed(S), density (D), and volume (V) with various motorcycle volume percentages. The research was carried out on the roads of Ampang, Juanda, and Diponegoro, Padang city. The primary data consists of traffic volume and spot speed obtained through video recording of on-road segments. The survey was conducted during one working day on different days on the Ampang street, the Juanda street, and the Diponegoro street, carried out for 12 hours, from 06.00 am to 06.00 pm. The vehicle classification referred to MKJI 1997 and S-D-V relationships was analyzed through Greenshield, Greenberg, and Underwood models. The largest percentage of motorcycle volume occurred at 6.00-7.00 am at 75.3% on Ampang street and the lowest 47.6% on Diponegoro street at 6.00-7.00 am. On Ampang road, motorcycles dominate the traffic at all times, while on Diponegoro Street, the volume of motorbikes is balanced with the volume of light plus heavy vehicles. The S-D-V models selected for the motorcycle volume percentage of
