Summary: | BackgroundDiabetes millitus associated with other autoimmune disorders such as dermatomyositis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis and addison.Case Report(s)We report three case presented with classical manifestation of diabetesand juvenle dermamyositis in sudanese girls,two of them have celiac disease GAD65 antibodies were found to be negative in one patient and required insulin therapy for approximately 6 month.steroid induced diabetes mellitus seemed likely in this caseConclusion(s)Simultaneous occurrence of diabetes mellitus and dermatomyositis is quit rare only few cases were reported .three acase presented with classical clinical data and laboratory finding of two disease. |
